Avoid costly driving permits, drive over almost any bridge, save detours and set up on the construction site without an auxiliary crane. This is even possible with an 8-axle mobile crane! Liebherr has developed a particularly simple, fast and economical solution for self-assembly of the telescopic boom for the LTM 1650-8.1. With the newly developed self-assembly device, which is mounted on a standard low-loader, the auxiliary crane normally required for assembling the boom can be completely dispensed with. The special feature here is that when the device is not needed, the low-loader can be used for other transportation tasks.

So it takes basically 24 hours to setup it. Is it stronger(lift more) than stationary tower cranes or with 24 hours, you can build one stationary also, I guess? How much it weights without all that stuff? 15 tonnes!?

Schönes Video wieder einmal von Liebherr 👍 Muss ich immer schmunzeln wenn ich sowas sehe, was wurde sich doch damals das Maul zerissen als der MK140 rauskam. Das Maximum auf fünf Achsen, der weltgrößte Mobilbaukran und da muss Ballast hinterher gefahren werden. Wer soll denn das bezahlen 🤣🤣🤣 Und nun ? Einen Mobilkran der nur Mobil ist, sonst aber nichts. Jedenfalls nicht bevor da erstmal ne heiden Arbeit reingesteckt wurde. Und sowas macht man gerne ? Ich nicht, hat was wie tanken bei einem Kran, man muss weil man muss aber nicht weil man will. Kann man ja froh sein das die Baustelle in dem Video das so logistisch alles hergegeben hat vom Platz. Und das der Kran noch so sauber war. Als der 650er der Riga damals in Frankfurt bei mir am Rechenzentrum stand, da wäre sowas auf gar keinen Fall gegangen. Und dann ? Auf jeden Fall ein tolles Video, da hat Liebherr wieder alles aus dem Kran rausgekitzelt was z.Z technisch möglich ist. Ist übrigens beim Ioniq5N das selbe, brauch kein Mensch, wird belächelt, wäre sogar peinlich, aber hey es geht, und das ist die Hauptsache 👍
