Thanks for watching and/or stopping by!

Tip: I used whatever I found on the ground, of course you would want your wedge stick, etc to be straight and free from limbs and knots. But I didn't want to cut anything living, so used what was at hand. Also the tighter the string, the quicker it will shoot.

I was actually reluctant to post this video. Too many are not worried about animals well being with many traps, everything has to be just right. If trip wire isn't tight enough and then you shoot a deer, etc, hit it in the backend, then you cause un-needed suffering for the animal. Best to study up on where to hit an animal, know how high to shoot, and especially by being out in the woods and observing the animals and the height of them, and the height of there heart and organs also. Also learn trap mechanics, what will work and what don't work, through trial, error, practice, and understanding, before using them on living things.

Nice and smart design Trap Trigger ~ Subscribed ~
  • these really are ment to kill withing five to ten feet too.but penitration is important.i still like it.the quick and dirty set for hard times.i never have been able to make a bow and ill master that soon enough.i will say this may be best for real high poundage bows.be tough to set a higher poundage bow with traditional triggers.this may make this easier to set
  • Good demo there mate. Brutal, and a true legend of a trap. Have you ever built one with a selfie bow? Much more satisfying when it's 100% self made, and good practace too. Brilliant way to harvest medium - large game in a long term survival situation. There's a tribe from Indonesia, called the Nuaulu, that still use this trap and spear traps to harvest pigs. There's a few documentaries on them. They show setting the traps and kills from them too. Worth a watch. Cheers Andy
  • Hello mate , that bow trap is awesome, looking forward to more of these vids great stuff ,️atb martin

Brilliant man. Great system. Malc's done one like that also. Slightly different to yours but both really good. Nice one mike.
  • i mainly would use these. in a serious situation only.but to that end its vital to get the best posible info so if i needed to use this to survive im not useing a broken method.you cant prevent stupidity my friend.not even duct tape can fix stupid,it just muffles the sound.list a standard disclamer and then shine.if somebody uses this illeagaly then they get canned and not you.its very important to learn placement though.ill agree.aiming is vital.in a survival situation im not gona want to burn calleries tracking a wounded animal if im starving.i want it very dead.in day to day life just use a rifle.these are not the kindest ways to kill but are necessary at times.all ill say is remember to respect the things that sustain you.live with the land, not off it.on bow traps im trying a variety of triggers.i found one online called the "SNAKE TRIGGER".come to gind out its really well suited for these traps.
  • only consern here is energy loss propelling both the arrow and the wedge stick.beyond that this is pretty genius
  • I wish not to make trap it's deadly indeed more less or forgetting where u put it and get killed to try to find it in woods u no it's a bad trap only in extreme conditions I would use trap if only have a last resort But thanks for ur time ur welcome sir .
