Itโs our first time visiting South Korea, so which better place to start than in the vibrant capital city of Seoul!? After spending a few days in the exciting, busy, and inviting metropolis of South Korea, it was time to explore the calmer, more serene and culturally significant area of Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul.
Although not necessarily a tourist attraction, this residential area is over 600 years old and has some of the most stunning architecture. Ranging from classic hanoks to newly refurbished ones. Lucky for us, we managed to book a stay in a recently refurbished hanok right in the heart of Bukchon Hanok Village, which is now a luxurious hotel for visitors to enjoy and experience the old style of living (with modern amenities, of course).
From the food, the surroundings, and even down to the outfits - we absolutely loved this experience in South Korea and we hope you do too!

@6:53 You got it right! Korea used Chinese characters just like the UK uses Roman/greek-derived alphabet. However, about 600 years ago, a king thought "dang, this characters are too hard to learn," so he invented an alphabet system by himself.

This place is amazing! We visited the village but we did not actually stay there. You both look great in your traditional outfit!
-
You two look so adorable in the hanboks! Wish we were there too so we could have a tteokbokki and soju party ๐ And the Vessis look sick!!!

Hanok has been built for more than two thousand years, not since 14th century. Since 14th century, Chosun dynasty ruled Korea, but even before that, many Korean kingdoms used them. You can see the more than 1000 years old beautiful ones in other areas.

Wow! It's almost like a typical British TV show! I've never seen this top notch quality editing for travel vlogs. Very impressive!! I wonder how you got the drone shots because I thought it was quite difficult to get the permission to do so in Korea
