What Does The Bible Say About Cremation?

I believe that no matter where our bodies are after our death God can find us. Even if we are dust in the wind.

Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. It's the spirit that belongs to GOD !!!! ❤

I think it's a disgrace that funerals cost so much. A vast majority of people cannot afford that amount of money. I understand that it can't be totally free but $15,000 that's outrageous.

My mum was cremated and I asked God so where shall she be now? He got me to open the Bible and my eyes fell upon the words the spirit returns to God who gave it. I was at peace

Iam a Deacon in training,and my pastor and I had this discussion before,and we come away with what thus said the Lord.The Bible does not say that cremation is a sin.Iwill be cremated and feel God is satisfied with my choice .I have died with Christ and I will be risen with Him.. amen Hallelujah any how.

When my Mom passed away in 2012, I was just sick because I had to cremate my mom. She had no insurance and I only received about $900 in SS disability so I couldn't even bury her. Someone, think my cousins, paid for her burial. I just try to remember that her soul left her when she passed. I'm thankful for this information. My mom, passed away 2018. We paid 18,000 plus. I mentioned to mines, my wishes to be cremated. They were totally shocked. Being I have been in the church all of their lives. ( all grown now ) My reasoning is this, I don't know what it will cost when it's my time. I want you all to do as you will. Rather than give money to something that makes money from your sorrows. I'm gone, I know nothing and it does nothing in the end. The money could be used to fund school, food, housing or whatever.
