I saw Ospreay wrestle in a leisure centre in Nottingham in 2016. Went up to him and said hello, and he was also gracious enough to take a picture with me. Going from 100 people or so then (way smaller than York Hall) to where he is now, has been an incredible and well-deserved for him.

I became a huge Osprey fan after he started making appearances during the early forbidden door spots. Then I started YouTubing all his matches. Including the one where Paul Heyman tried to sign back in the day. I even bought a “Bruv” shirt. What a talent!
