wendigoon could make a 5 hour iceberg about vacuum cleaners and id watch it on repeat for an entire year. thank you, Iceberg Boy.
  • My favorite thing about the Loch Ness Monster is that in 2005, a group of MIT researchers decided to try to map the lake and hunt Nessie, but they instead found a random common toad just hanging around at 325 feet down in the water. They have no clue how he got down there, why he would have swam so far down, and it left them baffled that he could even survive such water pressure. He swam off and was never seen again.

SPOILER: He doesnt finish by Christmas.

As a Floridian , it’s really cool to see Skunk Ape make it on any kind of list, it’s usually overshadowed by the more popular PNW Bigfoot. We also have Florida-Man , while not a cryptid , it is most definitely a unnatural unholy creature 😂
  • @Otis_.
My mom once lied to me that she ran over the Goatman and ate his remains. I was more freaked out by her than the cryptid after that.

nessie deserves the highest of tiers, without her we wouldn’t have “you named my daughter after the lochness monsterrrrr”

Fun fact: jackalopes kind of exist in nature! Theres a specific type of papilloma virus that causes growths on jackrabbit heads that may or may not look like deer antlers. Very possible that aside from the inside joke thing, somebody actually saw a jackrabbit with the disease and thats how the legend was started.
  • @BIastwave.
Over ten minutes into a 30 minute video and the iceberg hasn’t even started. Never change Wendigoon
  • @rodneyharris.
Thank you, iceberg boy. For all the icebergs you do.

Mothman is such a perfect cryptid story. He has IT ALL. Scary sightings, a tragic omen, Men in Black rumors, government/military conspiracy, a shiny metal ass. What else could you ask for??

my uncle is convinced he’s seen the dogman. he’s a very stoic and level-headed guy; he served in the us navy for many years and worked as a prison guard until his retirement so there isn’t much that phases him, but he gets genuinely afraid and hates talking about his experience with seeing it. the man, his friend, whom he was with at the time of the sighting refuses to acknowledge it. interesting stuff.
  • I love how the Loch Ness monster is described as docile and tourists show up with harpoon guns trying to ensure dinosaur extinction is complete.
  • "Understandably Mother Leeds was upset and cursed the unborn child" As you do. Not sure that helped the situation.

Wendigoon is the only YouTuber who can do a 10 min intro and still have this much engagement stg..

I listened to your 'icebergs' a few years back when I started working as a museum cleaner, and it was such a joy to hear your sound at 4am while I cleaned! We technically weren't allowed headphones, but I kept one earbud in, and it gave me motivation to do the gruelling job required at the time, yet making me so spooked Id be scared without lights. I really owe my ongoing progress to you engaging me with interesting stuff. I'm so happy you popped off.

The Kraken is something that seems so plausible to me. Squids aren't solitary, they hunt in packs of up to 20. Imagine 20 ten foot long squids writhing around your ship, their beaks tearing at its hull while hundreds of tentacles lash all around you. Easy to see how that story becomes a myth about massive tentacled monsters pulling down ships
