And speaking of Bring Me The Horizon, they're a band deeply tied into Bad Omens history, heavily inspiring the band from their roots.
But are Bad Omens slowly going from being the student to potentially becoming the master?

Bad Omens were amazing opening BMTHβs concert in London last month, but BMTH have proven again why they are one of the leading bands in the industry. I wish Bad Omens all the best, and I hope they can reach BMTHβs level, but I think BMTH need a bit more credit (itβs really not easy getting on their level, let alone surpassing it)
-
I don't know about getting bigger because Bring Me are really ahead of time but I feel like both Oli and Noah are the type of a visionary who's always striving to improve, both insanely talented and out of this world creative. Maybe they won't go bigger but they 100% will be on BMTH level (sooner than later probably). The other thing, while Oli is a great singer, Noah has an insane range and a siren like vibe, which I think will become even better with time. Plus, both are handsome which obviously helps with more mainstream audience
-
Theyβre second billing at Inkcarceration fest this year which shows how huge theyβve gotten. That puts them at the same position as bands whoβve been around for a long time whoβs had same billing (Falling in Reverse, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, etc.).
-
Bring Meβs Live performances these days are incredible, arguably the best live band around right now. The music is always innovating and itβs only a few years later we realise how far ahead they were
-
Never hearing Bad Omens before and after going to Bring Me The Horizon's Tour in Dublin, Ireland. I can tell you for sure it was when Bad Omens played "Just Pretend", I immediately fell in love with the song and have been listening to them ever since β€
-
Iβm simply excited to see what both bands come up with next and how it will influence modern metal π
-
Can we get a Bad Omens and Sleep Token coβheadline tour?
-
Bad Omens is big but still havenβt even reached how big BMTH was when Sempiternal was out lmao. Bad Omens can only wish to be as good and I do like both bands but BMTH is just better.
-
Really enjoyed your analysis mate. As a massive Bring Me fan I was blown away by Bad Omens at 2 of the UK gigs I attended. But I think of it this wayβ¦how lucky are we that there are now 2 bands with roots in metal music making fresh, innovative and banging music. Who cares which band is bigger than the otherβ¦letβs enjoy them both. π€πΌ

Well they're both amazing, and I love that they're heading up side by side.
-
BMTH are just much bigger and i cant see Bad Omens ever reaching that level. BMTH have been trendsetters for over 10 years. By the time other bands have caught up to bring me theyve moved onto another sound
-
I was blown away by how good they sound live a few weeks ago. BMTH was of course amazing but I left the show honestly feeling more impressed by Bad Omens performance, especially Noahβs vocals. I donβt think theyβre on BMTHs level yet or will be for a while, but they are easily one of the most exciting heavy bands right now. I think TDOPOM is a better album than any album BMTH has released since Sempiternal, which is saying a lot because the more recent BMTH albums are still amazing. Iβm so excited to see what they do next and hope they continue to succeed how they are now
-
Whatβs the name of the song you hear in the background from 7:44 till the end?
-
Totally agree mate Went to the BMTH tour in Birmingham. Whilst BMTH were unreal Bad Omens were equally as good if not better. Noah Sebastian truly has Grade A pipes . Can't wait to see them again at Download π€
-
Funny thing is, Iβve been saying this to myself and other people I know ever since the band dropped Dethrone, I said βthese guys are gonna surpass BMTHβ and at this point weather they do or not, I just wanna see if they can actually do it or not
-
I saw them Both in London at the 02 and they both killed it! Noah is damn Talented. I love both and seeing them Back to back was incredible!
-
I was never really into BMTH, there are a handful of songs that made it on my playlist. With Bad Omens I like lots of their old songs and most of the new songs. Just one year ago I saw them in a small club with 250 people and this year they sell our huge venues. Hope its everything they hoped for β€
-
Noah's a skillful vocalist with amazing qualities. But as a band i'm not sure they're at the point they can explore other genres without losing their own sound. Their recent album has been the softest they've been and it has the fandom split into two. What they need to do now is figure out how to bring it all together
-
they're both great bands, but I still feel that bad omens has a ways to go before they're on the level of BMTH. I literally started listening to bad omens after hearing someone jokingly refer to their music as sempiternal-core. after that, of course they've started to chart their own course, which is great, but I'd have to see a few more great albums from them before I consider them on BMTH's level
-
Maybe I should actually give Bad Omens a chance, I kinda just brushed them to the side 10yrs ago and never gave them another shot
