Published 2020-09-30
Hi Guys,
This week I go to the central Nevada desert and camp and hike out to a remote desert badlands that are harsh and beautiful. There I discover a narrow slot canyon, amazing stone formations and how harsh the desert can actually be.

Keep Hiking

The beauty of the Nevada desert is you will walk where it's very possible that no one has walked before. I would have to slow down and check out the rocks etc. Thanks for the hike video. Very nicely done.

Hello Chris, thank you for the tagalong. That is truly rugged country. Be thankful that you have that wide brimmed hat and sunglasses. You're quite a daring man. All the best to you my friend. Be safe out there. 🤗

Wonderful exploratory hike! I enjoy doing the same, looking at google maps and exploring different areas or lakes, so cool! Where I am in Canada, we have Crown Land and like spending time paddling or hiking those areas. Thanks for sharing! :) :)

Those are certainly some tight, narrow ravines to hike in! Interesting and fun!

  • Wow awesome be safe out there Chris it looks a little scary praying for your safety always.
  • Interesting video but I'm sure he had a hiking buddy with him cuz he was filmed from the back walking but it's still a dangerous trip that place in Nevada is really bad place to be in if your cell phone goes out or you can't make it back to your car or for some reason you didn't bring enough water or food you will finish besides there was rattlesnakes around you could go near one that doesn't rattle and just snaps at you then you're really in trouble but I say to each his own I enjoy watching this type of video I'm still on the safe side 👍⭐🇺🇸💯🍀🇨🇮💯🍀

Very Cool Video, Thanks Brother. Different Scenery where I Live, Swamps, Pine Forrest, One place Called Peachtree Rock is different Sandstone formations, might look kinda similar but high humidity is the norm in South Carolina. Thanks For Sharing!

You certainly get about Chris and to some really interesting places as well. The wife and I love watching your channel and look forward to each and every one. Thankyou
  • I’ve been to a place like that in Nevada and found petrified wood especially in volcanic ash. That looks like an ancient mudflow from a volcano and I would explore the other white looking areas. Nevada does have some interesting places to explore that’s for sure.

  • Have you ever thought you might be the only person to have been in some of these places.
