    Mayhem was probably the only one that was truly evil, after the lead singer commit suicide one of the band members took pictures and used them as an album cover, and also made necklaces with his skull fragments. The dude was genuinely insane, and constantly threatened the other band members, until one of the band members was just so disgusted that he killed him

    My dad told me this story once about how he went to go see Otep and Slipknot in concert and he got to smoke a bowl with Joey Jordison, the main drummer of slipknot (RIP). And he got to go on their tour bus together and smoke all night… goddamn, Dad was pretty fucking cool

  • I love how different they all sound from eachother. how one guy is like double bass pedalling the shit out of his kit and then the next song is like, nothing like it. also love the lyrics and vocal melodies. very touching stuff.
