I liked how every episode of the series opens with Tom Kane narrating what's happened like it's a wartime propaganda film reel.

My favorite fun fact about the making of the show is that the creators had to find a way to avoid Grievous and Anakin from meeting for 6 seasons because of an off-hand line in Revenge of the Sith that suggested that the two had never met until then.

“George Lucas did not make this tv show” he literally came up with the idea to make the show to properly explain the prequels better and would oversee production for nearly every episode up till season 7

You forget the best part: you can begin to actually see that the Jedi aren’t as good. I was kinda rooting for the villains at some points.

The show was able to appropriately convey what the movies couldn’t. You saw how blind and fallen the Jedi order was. You saw how taxing the war was on the galaxy. You saw how people were already not liking the Jedi order. You saw Anakin’s story change and his emotions evolve to become untrustworthy of the order. It showed what was told beforehand and did so in a great manner.

One thing I loved about Clone Wars is that it made the Clones, these faceless soldiers that are nothing but a plot device in the movies, actual people.

The Anakin in this show made me believe that he was gonna become Darth Vader. All the signs were there and they were naturally put into the story.
