First Harvest from the Backyard Garden | Houston Texas, Spring 2024

Published 2024-04-30
I planted my seeds early March in my raised beds in the big city backyard garden, and after some difficulties, two months later, my first produce: a huge zucchini!
Tomatoes are growing as well. Medicinal herbs, red beets, carrots, and more.
Fruit trees are starting to flower (apple, citrus) and might produce a few fruits this year for the first time. I already see a few blueberries and apples!
Grow your own food! Be prepared!
