Published 2021-12-01
Let's recap a handful of dry manicure techniques! We'll use small diamond bits to meticulously clean the cuticle and open up the cuticle pocket. A dry mani eliminate hangnails, it leads to better product adhesion and a longer lasting manicure, and overall it's more aesthetically beautiful!

This channel has been instrumental in aiding me through mail school and becoming a nail tech.

Love the detail bit. After years of Brazilian manicure, I have very deep sides. It's a relief to see all the dead skin gone.

EXCELLENTE ... Tutorial 😊I'm old school tech and this has been really helpful working with Nail Drills n Bits .... Gracias

Why do we brush the nails in one direction versus the other? Just curious… in school they told me to brush towards the free edge, but I ❤️ these results… I just want to understand why I am doing what I am doing 🥰

Erica, I’ve purchased almost all of your bits,as a matter of fact I think I got the last ones in the Labor Day Sale at Gemini 😂, I was curious though when you said to push brush “toward” your client .. I’ve been taught by several to only pull the debris out and away so that it isn’t pushed back into cuticles … Can you explain further? Thanks love the info and tutorials

I'm in North Carolina, I'd love to take a session from/with you.. after nail tech school

Should you pull the skin down while doing the sidewall to get in there or is this dangerous for the perionychium? I’ve heard you can get in there with the bit but I’ve also heard that you cannot touch the side wall with the bits AT ALL. It feels natural for me to take the keratin buildup out of there but I don’t want to hurt my clients if that’s not the proper way.

Thank you!

Do you have a complete manicure using bits, but incorporating free edge file, lotion, lacquer? Or close? Thanks!
