Story one!
In the Galactic Assembly, a mad Gib scientist urgently warned about humans harboring cosmic souls, sparking confusion and fear among the attendees. He described dissecting humans and discovering a mysterious energy within, likening it to a dual existence of body and soul. Captain Vir, Earth's representative, acknowledged humanity's belief in the soul but dismissed the fear, emphasizing its representation of good. Despite Vir's reassurances, the Assembly remained uneasy, grappling with the scientist's unsettling revelations. Krill, observing the tension, pondered the implications—could humans truly possess a transcendent essence? The Assembly left divided, unable to reach a consensus on the profound claims.

Story two!
Humans are known for defying natural limits and forming unique bonds, such as with dogs. Captain Vir's excitement about receiving a package reveals his dog, Waffles, initially terrifying Krill. However, Krill soon witnesses the deep, affectionate bond between them. The story highlights humans' unique ability to empathize and connect, both with each other and with other species. Even in captivity, Captain Vir inspires fellow humans to rise up through song, demonstrating their indomitable spirit and unity. This collective resilience and emotional connection showcase the extraordinary adaptability and strength of the human spirit, which cannot be easily defeated or constrained.

  • To be honest I am not really that surprised Mickey Mouse decided to go on a murder spree to find the "soul" in humans as it is the one thing he lacks and can't just buy.
  • Using Don’t Stop Believing as MORALE BOOST IS GENIUS AND I LOVE IT
  • @a-blivvy-yus
"There couldn't be anything that powerful... could there?" - my immediate thought was "it's called music" and... the story answers that beautifully.
  • @MultiSteveB
"The humans dont understand the power of their collective understanding." Truer words never spoken.
  • @Kidozy
It's never good for a captor when the captives regain moral and sets their sites on their captors, at that point, you run for your life.
  • @invisigoth510
Is it just me or does anyone else envision Vere & Krill as Zapp Brannigan & Kif
  • @IceSki117
There is a reason the phrase "music is the universal language" exists.
  • You did a WONDERFUL job on the first story! Your vocalizations of the various character's personalities and voices, especially the mad scientist insanity searching for the human soul in the human like it was a physical organ. I could literally hear the various waves of emotional madness in his voice as they rose, fell, and were tossed back and forth as he manically spoke. Notice I said "...his voice..." and not yours. Your presentation was so good that I was transcended beyond being just a listener and was transported into the story by my activated imagination The second story was excellent as well. In the 2nd story I heard you create the character of a rather animated storyteller, and then bring him to life with your vocal skills as he described the vocal play about to unfold. Your shifting between excellent "narrator mode" and vocalizing your characters was well done. Another person posted that you couldn't sing. That person completely missed what you were doing. It wasn't "you" singing, it was your various vocal characters, each character with a different voice, different personality, and in the part of the story where they were singing, with various singing abilities ranging from gruff and awful to almost passable, but again, your presentation was so good that it was the characters singing, not "you". Incredible presentation on both. These two stories were a LOT closer to being like literal radio theater then just narration. You literally set the stage of the mind of the listener with your voice as you then placed the characters upon it and then they....through your vocal skills, delivered a wonderful performance. Twice. Bravo!
  • Did anyone else notice the headless person around the council table. The headless body is in the lower left hand corner of the screen at 5:50. It creeped me out, considering the content of the story.
  • @HrLBolle
fascinating step into the metaphysical world about what we humans are
  • Okay, you had fun doing the voices for that second one, didn't you? haha
