1. Artwork in these books is good but the maps, THE MAPS are hard to interpret (at best) because of the line art style you can't clearly see depth. Lots of extra chaos in these outdoor maps dealing with terrain. 2. This book (and the NPC book) don't have maps. They are the best in the series. This is an excellent general-purpose Fantasy game book. 3. Good detailed review on how to use the book. Thanks.

Regarding scrolls, for some time I would just sell them once I arrived in a town, then I realized...I'm running the show so then I made a random table of some Uber cool scrolls that I would want to use, so now I can use them or sell them for mad cash

Hills ;) solo rpg always intrigued me, but I've never done the dive myself. My wife did try the AI Chat thing, and said it was quite alright. I'm bugging her to let me in on it though. Hah! I want to learn this stuff.
