His history of being a Navy Seal is so highly classified, he's the only one who can run all over town telling people about it. šŸ˜…
  • This guy is legit. They even made a movie based on his secret mission called Under Siege. They just switched from boiler mechanic to cook in the movie to keep his identity safe.
  • I donā€™t get why all these guys lie about their service. I was just a PN2 back in the 80s, pushed pencils for 4 years on USS John Rodgers and Iā€™m still proud and glad I served - no lies needed!
  • @EdSki1970
just a simple "jarhead" here no special secret deployments, no Medal of Honor! was lucky to get my Good Cookie with the shit I got away with! Dam proud of my service! Thank all real veterans & active members for your service and sacrifices!
  • @drewvanduyn7571
ā€œYou have the integrity of a can of tuna!ā€ This had me dying.
  • I got specially trained to sit at home like a fat ass watching Don Shipley clips on YouTube. So far so good. I just got awarded the Gravy Cross.
  • What I donā€™t understand is, if you are a veteran, you are already someone special. Everyone canā€™t say they served their country. So why lie? I spent 27 years in the US Army as a Armor Crewman. Nothing more and nothing less. I am damn proud of my career. I donā€™t need to beef it up and say Iā€™m a SEAL or Delta Force! šŸ¤¬
  • @scarecrow1958
"I'm Don Shiply, Sir...were you a Navy Seal?" Best answer "No, no I was not".
  • @GadgetAddict
Another guy that claims everything is classified, but he's happy to tell all to a stranger on the phone. It's so dangerous for the world to know he's a seal, but he's the first to tell everyone he meets šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø He should just be proud of the service he rendered. That's enough already. He can be respected for that.

How Don manages to keep cool is beyond me. I was getting furious with this guy.
  • @randydogs61
I like how you offer them a shovel so they can just dig themselves in deeper. Thank you Chief Shipley!!

Itā€™s amazing how long his very first answer was when Don simply asked him; ā€so, you were a Navy Seal?ā€ ā€¦ they always do this. They simply feel compelled to just go on and on because itā€™s all so REHEARSED ā€¦ and the longer he retells the same lies over and over, the more he actually believes it.
  • @ScarabChris
"You are NOT a Navy SEAL, you are a CHILD and you have the integrity of a can of Tuna fish" LOL
  • @markblanchard88
In the U.S. army infantry for six years. Never saw any combat just a lot of training and menial duties. Served in Germany during the cold war. Very proud of my service. I'm old and retired now and drive a school bus just to keep busy. The kids know I'm a veteran so one day a kid asks if I was in a war and have I ever killed anyone. I answered no. The look of disappointment caused me to chuckle a bit. I explained that I was glad I was never in a war or had to kill another man. He excepted that and went back to his seat. Some of them draw little cards for me on veterans day each year and I proudly mount them on my frig. Hahahahaha!
  • @17primemover
Wow, that dude had nerve. He's really invested in his little fantasy.
  • I was NOT a seal, however, back in the late 70ā€™s when I was a hull tech, I had the enormous privilege of raising hell and swilling beer with a few team members. They all were extraordinary, knowledge wise, and capacity to party. God I miss those days.
  • @richpaydirt
Iā€™ve been in several bar fights calling out clowns just like this. Sadly, most of them are average veterans like myself, never been in a campaign. For some strange reason, so many of them have a need to lie about their records and pretend they were heroes. Any honorably discharged vet should be proud just to have served. We were all a big part of something even if we werenā€™t decorated for valor.
  • @bvanfossen01
He's told his stories for so many years that he, himself, believes them.
  • @Buddahmonk
My grandfather enlisted at 15 during WW II. He used his brotherā€™s ID and eventually they found out but let him stay. He did over 30 years, went from enlisted to retiring as a Lt. Commander. I am extremely proud of him and people like this chump spit on their gravesā€¦ itā€™s not rightā€¦ thank you Don for your persistence on these pricks

I played Tackle, Guard, and End in the NFL. I sat on the end of the bench, guarded the water bottle, and tackled anyone who came near it! šŸ˜‚. Oh yeah, and I did it in secret!
