    Unless you're doing proper long exposures for astrophotography when the LENR will just eat into your data gathering , if you're taking say 180 second exposures the camera will then take a 180 second 'dark frame' after every exposure thus halving your acquisition time . In this situation just take all your long 'light frames' and then take a set of 'darks' at the end of the session to make a 'master dark' from to use when you stack the exposures ... 🙂
