I've got my notepad ready! I am enjoying your channel. I'm a NM camping and hiking lady.

These videos are great!! So glad i found your channel. Im just getting into camping with the help of friends who are backpackers & campers. I enjoy mountain biking too and although some places dont have mountain bike trails, can always ride the forrest roads or just hike. I plan to try monzano camping since in from Albuquerque and its a close drive and mostly want to try dispursed camping, but am also interested in the Monzano State park. I need to find somwehre up by Toas to camp becauase I wana go to lost lake and ride the trail there it looks beautiful. Your videos are a great tool!

Thank you for this video, we have been to half of these and agree with you on your assessments. We have never been to Columbine as we are concerned about big crowds whitch typically brings noise and generators. We are going on an exploratory trip to Hopewell to check it out in a couple of weeks. Over the years many of our historical camping areas have burned and so must find other locations. So we are headed north! Always love your videos and tree hugs. HA!

Hi Ron, Robin and Dylan... nice list of spots. Jack's Creek Campground said they will have water in 2024,we will see.I have been to most of the campgrounds, but plan to do them all in 2024. I met you guys when Dylan was just a pup at Jack's Creek. Mark is no longer there, my favorite place.🙏🙏🙏

La junta canyon is in the carson forest next to Sipapu, Nm it is awesome with lots of room for campers trailers. Only thing atv are aloud there. That is my most favorite campground. Lots of hiking trails as well good getaway spots
  • Great video, thanks for doing this! BTW, just for the record the campground near Las Cruces (Aguirre Springs) is pronounced U-geer-ee for English/non-accented speakers, and Ah-gee-re in its native Spanish. :)
  • @47AndyT
I just thought it should be stated, as I am familiar with many NM campgrounds and State Parks. Thanks!

Big trailer! I’ve camped the same way as you folks and now that I’m retired, I find a nice travel trailer is m6 favorite now. But I very much prefer to disperse camp. I don’t like neighbors.
