Yikes. By the time they charged her despite adhering to their 48 hour notice, the measured response is: "I followed the rules you gave me. I'm going to charge the money back and get a different coach. Bye."

These are vocal lessons too, the teacher shouldn't want her students to sing when they're sick.

"You got sick TODAY? Too bad, you should inform me TWO DAYS AGO! Now, give me your money even tho you maybe not gonna be able to do the lesson." like wtf.
  • @Andras0
That genuinely sounds like a straight-up scam. Paying for a service, notifying them as per their own policies, and then never getting what you paid for? And getting punished for a mistake on their own end too? Feel like they should be taken to court, but it'd just be more of a hassle for Kronii. I hope she can at least give a strong negative review, if nothing else.

Kronii sounds like she calmed down after wanting to fight, ngl

What i learned about studying contracts and laws is that always read the terms and conditions (policies and rules too) before signing anything, especially if money involved, even more so if it's big money. The cases my attorney who was our professor in Univ, always tackles about one party misunderstanding or sometimes missing the terms and conditions on the contract they enjoined with to a company or government. Yeah reading is boring asf, as a law student i agree, but you just have to especially money is involved. Then again, I'm not saying Kronii is wrong or anything it's just.. sucks for sure. Regardless of what happened, her teacher is greedy bastard or whatever the hell company he belongs to.

"Hey, I'm going to be sick in 2 days." "Oh, okay thanks for letting us know." *Rock Eye-brow raise*

Business: yeah sorry we still gotta take your money Kroni: yeah sorry im going to take my business bye
  • @dkosmari
    Sounds like she's getting scammed.

The problem with people who are so "technical" and into "bureaucracy" too much is that they lack of empathy. I don't exactly know how much more time was past 48 hours, but it doesn't make any sense to just "oh it's little over 48 hours so no we can't do that" is such amateurish practice of service. Even she explained the issue she had and still they do this, it is such a poor practice, and it's not good for their business. After all, it is a big money, and she has been learning with them for over 6 months. It really doesn't look good at all. No wonder Kronii was baffled and I'm also baffled but again glad the old teacher is more understanding I only see a teacher who's arrogant. It is after all a service and when you don't have any of empathy and understanding you shouldn't do this business at all. it's not fair at all.

Who recommended such a shady teacher? Now that person will cry on tiktok or instagram because "no one wants to take a lesson with me"
  • @Furluge
    Chargeback Kronii. Chargeback.
  • @hsus5283
Well if it is a 1 on 1 class, I guess the teachers would need to schedule someone else for the slot if someone is unavailable.
  • @Moon42069
That's the worst kind of art teacher. Overpriced and there's no give and take situation, plus they think their time is all that mattered... while literally being paid and living of off that payment.
  • If they tell me they'll "let it slide" when I'm sick, I'm already gone.
  • @Aaron-555
48 hour policy is normal everybody does it, you are paying for the teachers time and if you cant show up they could of had someone else in there that could pay. But she said she told them over 48 hours ago so it should of been fine unless she messed up.
  • If they don't want customers, then they don't want customers. Simple as that.
