Vice President and Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, will be making a campaign stop in Metro Detroit Wednesday.

Their visit to the battleground state comes as Harris has officially secured the Democratic Presidential nomination.

During a campaign rally in Philadelphia on Tuesday, both Harris and Walz shared that if they are elected, their main objective would be to protect working families.

Along with stopping here in Michigan, they will head to other battleground states. Harris and Walz will visit Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.

Meanwhile, Republican Vice Presidential Candidate J.D. Vance was also campaigning in Michigan. He appeared in Shelby Township Wednesday morning.
