Thank you for NOT focusing on the shooter but focusing on the victims and their stories.

I love that I don’t know who did this! Well done for focusing on those who really matter after this violent, senseless horror instead of giving attention to shooter by naming. Wishing healing for all victims, families and friends affected x

The fact that 911 did not answer her calls is terrifying. Even if dispatch is on a call with another person nearby it’s gotta be an awful experience if the caller doesn’t know that anyone else has gotten through.
  • This made me cry. I thought that young police officer died and at the end I saw him come around the corner and that is what started the tears. RIP to those lost. Good luck officer Wilt.

So thankful that young officer made a recovery and that those officers didn’t leave him

Ontario Canada here. Thank you for this update on Officer Wilt. My heart broke for him. When this happened I searched for updates on his status regularly. I am so very happy that he is still here and fighting. Thank you to the heroes that saved lives that day and continue to serve and protect. My heart goes out to those who have lost their loved ones and RIP to those lost 🙏🏻

I hope someone checked on the lady who witnessed it all on live cam 😢

It’s truly a miracle Nick Wilt survived that head wound! And it’s even more sad five innocent people were killed. I remember when this happened and there were a plethora of people questioning why the two officers ran up to that building not being able to see inside…but obviously it was a rush to get inside and find the shooter. Thankfully the evil was permanently stopped.

I can so relate to the trauma surgeon. I am a flight nurse in another state. I began my career at the tender age of 17; with the thoughts of all of the wonderful things I could do for my fellow neighbors. My life was soon changed by all of the ugliness of this world. I have worked through a natural disaster that took the lives of over 300 people, unimaginable crimes and accidents, as well as illnesses that no one could imagine. I have no regrets. I pray daily that no one should ever see what I have seen-no human should. If I have made the life of just one person better, then I am truly blessed. The first people on my prayer list every day are first responders. May God bless everyone in this world.

I appreciate how this program gave zero attention to the details of the shooter. Thank you. I also appreciate the acknowledgment of LEOs need to get help for their trauma.

Seeing Josh and his kids have so much fun just broke my heart into a million pieces, a father like that is irreplaceable
  • Excellent production and journalism. Really top notch work from editing to sound. Thumbsup.

I’m so glad to see Officer Wilt improving. This entire situation was so awful and I’m so sad for everyone who lost a loved one. I wish everyone involved peace and healing.
  • Not sure if it for me to say but thank you for doing this documentary the way you did. It has always made me so sad and angry how most highlight the shooter in a way that glorifies the shooter and inspires copy cats. This one focused on bringing the victims out from behind the shadow of statistics and shows us a small glimpse of who they really were and those who lost so much when they were taken from them. So thank you. And now more people will no longer be just a number on a page. They are known. ❤

This was excellent reporting and journalism to highlight the victims and their families. Absolutely tearjerking.
  • A heart warming piece about a heart breaking event. Much love from Texas.

Very tough to watch. My family and I appreciate everyone of you from the dispatch to officers and to the amazing medical staff. Whole heartedly, we thank you
  • Great doc. It's hard to believe this was a year ago today. I'm glad they focused so much on the families and first responders. The way the community came together during and after this was incredible.

Great in not focusing in the shooter as what he is a shooter😡! My hats off to the production all involved and my best wishes to the survivors RIP to those who we lost! 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
