  • on my Ascape camper where do the wires go? I have 5, one heavy white ground, and 2 split wires, totalling 5 wires. the 2 that are split, are one w/ 2 white wires, and the other split wire is one white wire and one black and white. Which wires go on the pos. and which ones go on the neg. side?
  • @Winu58
Most RV's will have black for positive, NOT Red!
  • @debbiesmith2207
Thanks. Double checking positive ( black) terminal first . 😀 my old camper has a positive white wire! This is so confusing!
  • Question: I accidentally reversed the wires when I was attaching them to our Aliner battery. Caused an electrical fire down the wires back under the trailer. I need to know if, in your best guess, if I would have to replace all the wiring, and can a private party can buy it vs an electrician. The trailer was used and all the wires appeared to be taped together, and of course, I pulled them apart, only AFTER the mishap did I see the white wire under the trailer (I must assume is the ground and the negative wire).

My question is, which terminal do you attach the ground too. I have positive, negative, and ground. Store that sold me the battery said it should be attached to the negative, but I don't think my ground wire is long enough to reach the negative side. Does it matter?
