personally wasn't a fan of nxde but i think the fact that soyeon, as a female idol, is receiving public recognition as a songwriter and producer is great news. i hope that we get more idols able to make their own music in the future.

I know soyeons rap was off in tomboy but that doesn’t matter nxde was absolutely insane and has a meaning and a big concept that was executed stunningly I don’t know where all of this hate came from it’s absolutely ridiculous. I will not tolerate such slander

The IVE favoritism is annoying they're good but I wouldn't say they're better than Lesserafim, NewJeans & G(IDLE). Their choreo is extremely simple their songs are just catchy but so are "attention'', ''antifragile'' & ''tomboy''. There's literally no reason why they should've won 4 awards specially a Daesang idc about the criteria or whatever. I'm not hating they're great I just think they're overhyped a bit.

IVE is already famous in korea and Love Dive have been on top 10 ever since it got released so it's understandable why they get all the awards also let's just appreciate soyeon winning the best songwriter, actually we all knew she deserves more than that and i hope you do some research first before talking all the shits about the other artists that have won their awards.

if you actually look into stats you'd realize the daesangs made sense. IVE's songs charted exceptionally well and BTS' album outsold other groups'. I know fans feel unfair or bored when they see BTS snatch another major award again but like come on lmao, at this point it's simply difficult if not impossible to exceed them in sales or impact. Yes every group works hard but the numbers are literally right there.

I'm surprised Hype Boy doesn't have any daesang award yet. That song defined 2022 for me.

Wow watching this video made me realize why I left the k pop community in the first place. Like literally any other genre of music I listen there aren’t any slander or toxicity that emits from the fandom. And it’s kinda sad how these kind of insults/slanders are normalized in this community. I am never dipping my toes back into the k pop hole 😒

This video screams “I don’t like these idols because they stole an award from my fave 😡”, sis just say you don’t understand the meanings behind the songs that one and can’t accept the fact that IVE and Stayc have been growing in popularity. “BTS had one of the most boring comebacks this year” sis their 2022 comeback was anything less than boring, I could argue that last years was boring since they were all songs geared towards the English market, the only song from last year I actually love from BTS is permission to dance. You can’t tell me they didn’t deserve the award when you personally think it’s boring, yes having a huge fan base played a part in it but you also need to understand the references and meaning. 1. the boys are gonna be starting their military services one by one, Jin already started his about a week ago so that song feels like a tribute to their eventual hiatus.

No one is talking about how SVT should’ve won so many awards but were snuffed because of attendance. Like the editing in ‘HOT’ alone should’ve won best MV. Also I have nothing against StayC (I’m actually happy they got recognized) but you can’t ignore SVT exponential growth after Rock With You and Hot internationally. Like sold out US stadiums and Japan Domes… they actually deserve everything

The IU one is not true at all, she deserved it. Y'all only listen to catchy beat song but never looked at the lyrics and the actual meaning of the song. IU successfully capture the whole SK heart with her amazing song writing skills which 99% of KPop idol not doing already explains why she deserves her award

Also, why are people acting like soyeon is a bad songwriter or as if she hasn’t been doing this for YEARS. Shes been doing this on a regular since 2018, its nothing new. Shes very deserving.

seulgi's 28 reasons debut is so good how could she not win😭 lol so many replies and some arguing as well haha. this time many 4th gen groups won cause it is 4th gen kpop time now. im an army and i get it why some people disliked BTS winning so many awards, its just to honour them for their contribution to kpop. no hate to any artist! keep being respectful in your own fandoms:)
