I've got 2 of these bikes, one is a 125 symoto almost new, the other is a zhenhua11 years old, been well used and its better made. The chrome is not bad and there's no rust like on yours. I agree about the fixings must be checked, plus the cables should be oiled and bolts like wheel spindles and swinging arm should be greased. Your chain has stretched because you haven't oiled it. I can see the brown rust on it. The foot peg is bent, probably were your son has hit it, that would explain the missing rubber. There great bikes and very cheap to replace parts. šŸ‘šŸ˜Ž

I was riding the real Honda 70s back when they were new and loved them. Sounds like for just basic riding around this would be okay as long as you go over the whole bike and Loctite everything like you said to make sure nothing falls off, lol. I was looking for a used genuine Honda 70 but the prices are high for one in nice condition. Thanks for the video.

Totally getting one just to mess around with. Get a new chain. Locktite everything down. Good to go.
  • @SirCyan
Been thinking of getting one just because they are cheap but itā€™s good to know what Iā€™ll need to look at before I do get one. Good video!

I have a 2018 model no issues no rust but I donā€™t leave it out in the rain either

I got one, Chuck the carb, handle bars and exhaust. tighten everything. trail buddy for parts and advice for moving the front fender and fixing the swingarm. Buy a Honda if you don't like fixing your ride. once dialed in I love mine.

My ocd is flaring up on that rusty chain dude.
  • @jakespeed6515
Mine will be 20 years old next year, I replaced the original jincheng engine with a Lifan, that did 14000 miles I only changed oil 3/4 times I wanted to kill it,,, could not bearings worn vibration crazy, but it still ran, put new spare engine in it, and replaced front and rear forks, but done well, bought in 2008 in UK for Ā£375
  • I started riding motorcycles on a ct 70 it was a 4 speed with a clutch I also had one that had the 3 speed auto clutch what do these bikes have? I was looking at these just to get around the area on not really long trips. I'm not afraid working on then but it's good you pointed out what gets loose easily.

I have put 700 hard off-road miles on mine and it runs great, just keep changing that oil. It does take a lot of maintenance because it's made out of China metal so things break and bend. Also, the stock exhaust and carb really choke her up.
  • @GratefulEd907
It would be cool to swap a CRF110 onto it. And change that swingarm out for a real ct70 swngarm. Iā€™ve been tempted to buy one for a while now
  • @JohnDoe-cv8iw

Subbed !! What front fender is that ? Did you do anything to the front forks ? Mine are like rocks and don't move / compress very easy !
  • @gunlover1955
So what I am hearing is Blue loctite all the bolts and nuts.
  • @jimsweeney6074
You're wrong. I've put over 2500 miles on my clone, and have had few problems. Also haven't had the bolts vibrate like yours.
