One of the best songs EVER recorded.
-
I’m a simple man. When I see real country music, I hit like.
-
The genuine (not forced) rasp & twang in Marty's voice is unparalleled to this day.
-
Marty Raybon…one of the most underrated country music singers ever.
-
The lead singer still has great chops. I love his voice.
-
I grew up in the countryside of southern ft worth, texas. Born in 82, the perfect time for country music. Listened to george strait, shanendoah, doug stone, clint black, mark Chesnutt, blackhawk clay walker, joe diffie.. reba, patty loveless.. and this is my fav song.
-
Not alot of people that can sound this amazing live. Pure talent right here

Once you hear this song you can not get it out of your head. It is truly one of the great ones and unfortunately did not and does not get enough recognition or airplay. Great job guys!
-
Shenandoah is absolutely my favorite country group of all time.
-
I grew up playing drums in the clubs. I started at 7 years old. I'm 40 years old now. I'm retired but I remember playing your music. You guys are still awesome.
-
I'm glad they got back together.
-
That opening riff played sounds so good here.
-
All these years later, this remains Shenandoah’s finest song.
-
now thats country music not like we have today
-
This guys are still kicking ass 27 years later! Very impressive, they got it!I’d love to see them in person. I’m 23 so I never got the opportunity to experience this music when it was a new sadly. There was a huge country music renaissance in the early 90s from what I can see. I wish we had one of those again

😢 This song makes me want 2 cry really hard cause of how badly I treated my adopted mom. I'll do my best in the modern day to treat her with more respect.
