I really regret not knowing about this guy sooner. The best thing is though, the past 18 months I have had a massive catalogue of music to get to know and love. This has to be one of my favourites! Thank you to Joe for making the last year and a half a musically enriched experience.

Been listening to Joe for years. In my opinion the best blues/rock guitarist around. Love SRV, Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Vanhalen, Joe has flawless technique and can do it all like the immortal greats. Thank you for posting this old clip of young Joe.

Well, this was a nice find nearly 10 years after! Thank you!

joe was it his best when played with Eric czar. The bass player pushed him... nowadays he plays with side men... competent but they do not stretch Joe
  • Flawless delivery, absolutely epic, final boss mode level guitar mastery
  • Man I get tired just trying to keep up with Joe, pickin that guitar of his..AWESOM, Totally AMAZING! Absolutely THE BEST!!!! Love the way he sings too, as well!  In " ALL"  of his songs! Joe definitely has a voice for blues!

Smokin' Joe has been the boss of all the bosses (Il Capo di Tutti Capi) since he was four years old.

Ft Wayne and Rockpalast 05 are similarly powerful shows

O kay, hier mal für die Deutsch JB Fan's: Joe war mit seiner alten Besetzung (eben dieser hier) wirklich viel besser als heute. Es ist halt auch bei ihm wie bei allen Anderen - Kommerz macht kaputt. Hört Euch Talking the Hit an. Das waren seine wirklich grossen Zeiten.

I just feel like a freakin idiot that I was living 1 and a half hours from there when they did this show and I had no idea who he was!!! So happy for him that he is achieving the success he so richly deserves.

DAMMM y'all are ROCKEN this set Digging It. Thanks you and the Band .

Best lineup Joe has played with, and his own playing and singing was more exciting back then. He should never have listened to producer Kevin Shirley to change everything. Eric was great as a foil to Joe's playing and Kevin is rock solid.

  • Bonamassa's best band, hands down, Czar pushed joe to his best playing.
