Allow me to explain the game's lore: NUSIAN ANNEXATION OF IMPERIAL GUESA In 2028, the then-emperor of Guesa had an affair with an ethnically Nusian woman. This sparked immense outrage, as many Guesans viewed their country becoming increasingly more controlled by their neighbour, Nusia. In a period of 3 days, the capital (as well as other major cities) in Imperial Guesa fell under massive riots, resulting in dozens killed and several hundreds wounded. The Nusian parliament passed a bill in secret (enacting the 1933 Secratem Laupe Enacta, translated as "Secretive Bill Act") which authorized the mobilization of reserves and deployment within the Guesan countryside. Soon, the Guesan countryside began spotting more and more unmarked Cascadan-designed vehicles, bearing no symbols of icons signifying its origins. Many of the soldiers on the vehicles would refuse to speak and had all their insignia removed on their uniforms. Exactly 3 days and 18 hours after the discovery of the affair scandal, the unmarked men and vehicles entered the capital. Seizing the opportunity and using superior equipment and violence as a means of suppressing the riots, the men entered the parliament building and overtook it with no casualties. In the transitionary period of a few days, a de-facto government was setup in the Guesan royal palace, which officially declared the dissolution of the Imperial family rule and the establishment of a "Guesan Republic". The new republic set up a referendum spanning several days, prompting its citizens on a simple matter -- Become annexed into Nusia, or stay independent. In a totally-not-rigged election, the "majority" of the guesan population voted to join the Nusian republic. Following this, widespread riots resumed. This time, instead of protesting against the imperial government and Nusian influence, it was now about Guesan independence. A violent insurgency soon began in Guesa, known as the Guesan Liberation Army. The following 'civil war' would last until 2038.

I love how tragic this song sounds. In my perspective it really reflects the guilt our main cast feels after losing the rest of their team, and the uncomfortableness and pain they went through getting out of that hospital. But even with every muscle aching, every scratch stinging, they still have enough grit to push through despite the horrible scenarios they're stuck in. Throughout the low toned song there's always hope shining through, and you do very well in expressing that. Thank you for this song, your work is amazing.
