Dark Magician of Chaos vs META! | Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel

I really wish Konami would focus on old archtypes as well, I don't mind new ones but there a lot of people that like to play "pure" varients and it would be nice if those decks could get in archetype support and be decent at the very least.

I have been trying for ages to get someone to genuinely pop my Dark Magician of Chaos solely because I want to use the combo of him getting destroyed, summoning Illusion of Chaos, and then getting to negate a monster effect with Illusion and resummon Magician. I would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping to see you pull that off but damn these Bystials make it extremely difficult I've given up and gone back to using Branded to stop suffering from Dark Magician getting removed from my GY to Bystials and Kashtira. I really hope to see some Banish recovery support for Dark Magician one day.

I love Rituals, and DM Ritual is my favorite variant. I already have the recipe to play the ritual more often (if not brick). I hope Konami create a support for "Chaos Form" or DM ritual strategy.

I love Dark Magician, I went for it as my first Master Duel deck (I'm a new player) because it was the first starter deck that popped out at me and seemed pretty much f2p (good, considering I need to prioritize getting staples with my SR & UR chips) But holy shit can I not play past disruption at all. It feels like unless I can get lucky and bait it out with a spare Preparation of Rites, I'm just gonna lose to a single Ash Blossom

dark magician is such a fun deck to play until you get hit by the ash blossom turn 1, ruining the entire combo, and then getting OTK after
