Our rule of thumb to decide to rent a car on #Maui is if you are planning on doing more than 3 activities during your stay, a rental car will pay for itself compared to taking Uber, Lyft, or a taxi.

I've been using Discount Maui Car Rental I found them about 8 years ago and always go through them. I pay a little extra so that they fill the vehicle up upon return rather than trying to find a gas station. I love your channel (I just found it) and miss not being in Maui last year. Aloha! Thank you for the great tips for renting a car especially with the shortage in vehicles at the moment. I liked that you always featured Kihei Car Rental which I just made a reservation with. Last time in Maui, we rented at the airport, but with rental over 1k for a week is really not in our budget. I would do another activity and have great food instead.
