Rec Room has made a huge impact on me, I want it to last forever.

But we've been asking for #1 and #4 since 2018.... The building community was in constant turmoil with every update they released because it was like a rug being pulled out from under us as they would typically cripple new rooms. Don't forget, most of the creator contests were viewed as "free stress-testing" of new features from the RR staff, literally planning to release huge changes to core features during contests so they can maximize feedback on them, which is insane because it made those contests far more frustrating and stressful (even more so once people were starting to enter these competitions for the monetary rewards, literally relying on it for their own livelihoods...), because you'd be working around bugs while staying up all night with your team trying to get something out in time to make the judging timeframe. It was ridiculous! Basically, these cries for better communication between staff and user have been echoed for yeeearrs. And very little has changed in their communication overall. The younger and more volatile the audience is/becomes, the more the staff close up and put their fingers in their ears, because its super distracting and disruptive to be bombarded by such endless whiney feedback. And yet, its also their own doing. They created the monster they despise. I don't know what needs to be done, but whatever it is they're doing right now, it's not sustainable.

Honestly, review bombing rec room will just make it even worse and rec room will care less about the game since people don’t like it.

I quit playing rec room a while back and this video got me to remember the older days of the game and I think rec room can be saved they just need to do their part in saving themselves. Maybe reinstate the weekly or another non-daily challenge system that would give a lot more sense of progression while completing than the dailies do and would feel worth it to come back and complete. Unlike gorilla tag which I stopped playing back in early march, I can see myself coming back to rec room. So I hope rec room can get better but with how things have been going I don’t know if rec room wants to save themselves.

I don't think Rec Room needs saving, but the devs need to wake up and realize that they made a VIDEO GAME and not just a potential money printer. They also turned Rec Room into just "VR Roblox," and not only was that not the case in the beginning, BUT Roblox has it's own VR thing now, and now Rec Room is just kinda bland. They NEED to fix their own games identity by working on the game and making big updates like making cosmetics more accessible (Cheaper), more RROs (More quests, update their RROs), tweak the algorithm a little bit so I don't see "Build your own Skibidi Toilet RR" every scroll, and have more community events and overall just LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY.
