Missed the second half of the show? The latest on...NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg tells "Face the Nation" that although far-right Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán recently visited Moscow, "that doesn't change the common decisions" the alliance has made regarding Ukraine, After President Biden's disastrous debate performance last week, Democratic strategist and CBS News contributor Ashley Etienne tells "Face the Nation" that the party needs to "take a deep breath", and CBS News chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes tells "Face the Nation" that the upcoming week — when Capitol Hill lawmakers return after the July 4th holiday — will be critical for President Biden's reelection.

"Face the Nation" is America's premier Sunday morning public affairs program. The broadcast is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television, having debuted Nov. 7, 1954, on CBS. Every Sunday, "Face the Nation" moderator and CBS News senior foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan welcomes leaders, newsmakers, and experts to a lively round table discussion of current events and the latest news.

  • I really don’t think this is an appropriate question to be asked of the Nato head.
  • The same inappropriate question 3 times in a row. Of a major world leader. Stoltenberg answered properly. American journalism is broken.

Unfair, Journalists alway discussing Biden health problem , but I don't see they talking about Trump has health issues too

Where is Margaret today? This guy is too tense for Sunday.
  • CBS has fallen so far from the days where it was actually a news organization. Sad.
  • This guy needs to just go away. Biggest money launderer in the world. 😂
  • @kyleitis
This is a waste of a half hr. CBS, CNN, wow. No longer newa
  • Sec. Stoltenberg has been an effective NATO leader. Thank you, sir.

How embarrassing for an American reporter to ask such an inappropriate question about its own leader … this interview was cringe
  • @waynefoote3781
WHO on earth is coming up with these questions? This redundancy is beyond sickening man!
  • @vinista256
I’m impressed not only with Stoltenberg’s command of English (better than the average American’s) but his ability to either give a clear, honest answer or a clear, well justified pass on answering. Guess that’s why they pay him the big bucks.

Excellent response by the quest. Whether the President is capable to be President for the next four years is irrelevant and a matter of an Internal US concern. Imagine this guest saying President Biden is incapable to be President and the next thing you know Biden is re-elected. Imagine the awkwardness with Biden in the room and this guy😅😅😅😮

Stoltenberg sees how broken it is through these questions.😊

Seeing more of President Biden is just fine so long as the press that covers the events is fair and reasonable because honestly through this moment coverage has been a breathless excitement by the press, watching every move and utterance for any pause or anything that can be construed as a misstatement.
  • It will be interesting to see how determined Biden really is. He holds all the cards, and no individual or group has the power to remove him as the nominee.

Great host and great interview with NATO's Secretary Mr. Jens Stoltenberg.

Anyone in the house that's worred about their job needs to step up their game and do a better job to be relected.
