I sometimes go to Argentina or Chile in the summer, as my job as ski instructor and ski coach takes me to all these places. Never skied in the US although I dream of heli-skiing in Alaska. The price is prohibitive though, at least if you go through a european tour operator.

@sdudeproductionssm Super safe, the forest gets skiied regularly, the snowpack is solid. Other places like the couloirs at the top were totally sketchy as the wind hits them. Did them as the weather cleared up, they sluffed quite a bit but thats all. It is a tiny place about 2hs drive from Turin. If I reveal the name, it will become like La Grave, skied out in 30mn unless you hit the 50 degree plus couloirs.
