I've been watching this for almost 10 years..
-
Seriously guys, don't you feel like crying out of joy when watching this?? This is pure gold, he's a magician that uses notes instead of cards.
-
The phrasing really is first class, this guy is so underrated!
-
Greg impresses even himself on this haha. You can see the smiles from time to time when plays a really crazy line like "hell yeah, can't believe I pulled that one off"
-
Stopping by to have my monthly dose of this
-
Exactly. I can't believe that somebody can jam continuously for 4 minutes and not repeat a single lick - AND still make it sound so awesome !
-
Reading below, it's always shocking to me how people don't know Greg Howe. He's been around since the original late 80's Shrapnel era guitar virtuoso's. Truly one of the all-time greatest IMO, Introspection album is a masterpiece

It’s 2018...still amazing!

It's 2017 and this is still amazing!
-
I've been coming back to this video for years now. So good
-
my guitar teacher when I was a kid would always talk about how great greg howe was and that he was underrated. I get it. There's more flavor in his playing than alot of the big name guitar soloists you think of
-
Fantastic! Perfect blends of speed, style and taste. Excellent.
-
I think Ive watched this about 20 times now ! I think its one of the best guitar vids on youtube. So tasteful and melodic, yet technically frightening! It also takes a true genius to jam for 4 minutes and not repeat a lick. Incredible.
-
The more you watch this, the more you realise you are watchng something very special indeed. I think this is already a standard for many years to come !
-
Jawdropping! Love the beautiful melodic lines and the doublestops within!
-
Greg sounds so refreshing and natural! It's always a pleasure to hear and watch him playing!
-
I love Greg's phrasing. He's truly one of my favorite players of all time.
-
followed this guy since his debut album. great great player!
-
the first time i heard Greg improvise, it felt so refreshing but somehow familiar like if i already heard 'the song' when i was a kid. now i realize that he just plays what i wanted to hear the most all my life... 5 years later i still come back to this video as a huge source of inspiration and feeling.
