you know, as far as villainous motivations to kill the hero go, I think "you know me as well as I do, which is a liability" seems like a decent one. It doesn't need any direct material conflict- just the knowledge that the otherside is a risk, and a willingness to 'solve problems'.

With Supergirl in the future, I was kinda hoping Galatea would return and potentially get redeemed to become Powergirl or at least a Powergirl adjacent if they weren't willing to use the name.
