On the cusp of releasing their 10th studio album, Mogwai were live in session for Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC Radio 6 Music. The band treated us to a track from 2011's album Hardcore Will Never Die, but You Will.

Head over to BBC Sounds to hear 2 new tracks from their latest album As the Love Continues and the interview: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000s9dr

The greatest band the world has never heard, but needs to hear.
  • People can get into the depths with lyrics but the melody of a song is what makes it, this is a musical masterpiece.

I mind hearing this and subsequently seeing it on the day it was broadcast..it was so good to have live music back after lockdown.. and what an absolute belter. If I was in Glasgow that day, I'd be dancing outside the windae too. Gives me chills, then and now❤

Impossible to play this once, I play it at least three times in a row. Magical music!

I listened to this session on the radio in work as it happened, how lucky are those 2 people also listening to the live broadcast but actually watching it unfold through the window at the same time.. How fucking cool is that.

Как же я завидую той паре, что на 05:46 - 05:55 видна за окном! Верю, это папа с дочерью. Папа привёл дочь на онлайн своей любимой группы, и дочь в восторге, а папа от этого ещё в большем восторге. Thanks from Moscow, Russia

When I heard Mary Anne Hobbs losing it after hearing this, I became 'emotional'. When I listened back, I comppletely fucking lost it and was in flood of tears. I miss live music, I miss Mogwai...
