I live in a 125 yr old cottage in rural Victoria. I named her Gramarye Cottage which means ‘Magic’ cottage. I’m an Eclectic Pagan Witch. My cottage decor is dark forest/ academia/witchy/gothic/cottagecore I’d say and all my furniture and decor items are antique/ second hand/ thrifted. I love hearing about the signs that made you know that this house was meant for you. I have experienced something similar in search of my house. I've always dreamed of living in a historical home, my very own Practical Magic house. Imagine my surprise when I found just that two years ago, a townhouse from 1840 with all the features I have imagined for my historical dream home. Not only that, but... there was a pentacle in the garden, a round disk poured into the earth, the star outlined in white stones. It was THE sign that it was meant to be! :)

What a darling cottage! ❤️ It has the same colour scheme as our cottage from the 1930’s, which we had moved from Preston all the way to the high country. I love the charm of old houses. It’s something that is very hard to create in modern builds. I can’t want to see more videos and hope you very much enjoy your new witchy cottage!

What a lovely job you've done already! I moved into Rose Cottage (built for me, so brand new! But still with lots of charm!) Just two weeks ago, April 17th. I have a dreamy new bed, and lots of old things from my former life ... I had a sweet black clawfoot tub that I'd never installed - since my home is designed for aging in place (I'm 72) sigh ...I just have a shower, a friend took the tub. I have a cabinet my dad built nearly 100 years ago in his school shop class - it's serving as my pantry, and my largest harp Rowan looks quite at home on the living room. I have a second 'bedtoom' for my library, at and music room, and we got a load of books and such from storage last night for me to go through and decide where to place/ what to keep this time. I brought pants in pots as well, and am so glad to see which came through the winter! And to sort and contemplate what goes where ... Congratulations on your wonderful move, and on settling in
