I saw Lainie & Don Rickles performing at the Concord Hotel , on a fourth of July weekend vacation in 1969. I will never forget Lainie sitting at the counter in the coffee shop at the hotel chatting with her musical arranger Peter Matz, who i believe she married later on. I was at a table with my mom , so close to Lainie, i could have been in her lap. I am very shy and i just sat there with my mom as her and Matz were gabbing away for a long time. I didnt say anything to her, but she did a great show that night.

I find this very moving, her words add so much to it. Wonderful performance.
