I implemented the 12 and 12 policy back in 2006. I am glad to see it is still in effect in a high-volume system—24 hours without a break on an ambulance leads to sleep deprivation errors.

Going on 19 years inner city and even through a broken back n lots of rehab I still love my job. As far as sleep, I can sleep when I’m dead. :) Be safe y’all! I’ve noticed this past year more and more of us are getting assaulted so never wear your stethoscope around your neck, never run on any scene, and watch each other’s 6, esp on highway TA’s. God Bless❤
