  • Here’s why I prefer the ‘old style’ AC; You’re able to explore the world & learn about history easier due to having to spend less time gearing/levelling up, the grind gets in the way of the most interesting part, The World.

The games that I’m excited for 2023 are hogwarts legacy, avatar frontiers of pandora, starfield, atomic heart, wow long, one piece odyssey,Jedi fallen survivor.

stalker 2 was scheduled for last year but because of the war it got delayed. i am really impressed that they are available to make it
  • @joshmclovin
For the record on the original Forest, you're not "some father running around the woods" you actually play as a survival expert who happens to be a dad, that's how they make the crafting menu (survival guide) contextual in game.
  • The graphics of these games are amazing... Flowers to all the great artist developing these impressive game worlds. 👊🏿🙏🏾💐
  • I’ve been waiting for Wo long Fallen Dynasty,Tears of the Kingdom and Rise of Ronin. Also I wouldn’t be mad if FromSoftware decided to make a sequel to Bloodborne or Sekrio
  • WOW. Some games that actually sound and look good. I hope most if not all of these will be playable on the Steam Deck. It'll be a perfect year to enjoy playing the deck if they do. 2023 looks to be shaping up pretty good.

Can't wait, got back into gaming after about 15 years just because of massive open-world and graphics that are possible now with current technology... Can't wait for the new Assassins Creed, one of my favorite games and my recently gone best friend's favorite, so it's gonna be nice dig some memories... Also, Where the Winds meet looks much like Sekiro??

I'm excited for ksp2 and starfield, would be interesting to see the state that these games come out as they seem to both have the largest maps. Hopefully not a buggy mess:)
  • @trompie_
Great list! But for us racing fans it's got to be Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. A 1:1 size Hong Kong island to explore with amazing cars and all the bells and whistles we love about the series.
  • @Lumin-

Mirage really reminds me of the OG Assassin's Creed from what I've seen: let's hope it delivers.
  • @dkoch2
I love open-world games, especially ones like Watch Dogs, GTA etc. Sometimes I just walk around and look at things as opposed to doing missions lol
