  • The cake is a lie. There are only cookies. Through cookies, I gain sugar. Through sugar, I gain carbohydrates. Through carbohydrates, I gain weight. Through weight, my belt is broken. The fat shall free me. -Darth Baras the Wide

I love how practical the Sith code is and how useful it is irl. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Because peace brings stagnation and passion is the only thing that drives us forward. If you ware at peace you care little to bettering your surroundings and yourself. But Passion is all about bettering yourself and your surroundings. Be better! Find your passion and get off your lazy ass and work towards what you want! Through Passion, I find Strength! Through my desire I shall gain what I need to obtain it. Basically I use my passion to learn/train/practice for my desires and while doing so I will not only gain physically what I need but I also gain knowledge of my desires. How to get it, who to know, what to have, why everything is the way it is. Strength is the ability to achieve your desires. Through Strength, I find POWER! The power to move towards my desires. The power to change things. The power to act, and with it the confidence that only comes from strength of will, knowledge and body. But also the political power of people that surrounds it, their respect and influence. All the means needed to achieve my desires are now in the grasp of my hand, all I need to do is actually use it. Through power, I find Victory! You did it! You gained what you wanted! You have achieved it all! Use your power to go the final step! Don't cover, don't hide! MOVE FORWARDS! The whole code is built around actually achieving what you want to. Not to maybe possibly do so, but to actually to it! Through Victory, my chains are broken! You will now see just how far you have come, and ever step empowers your future ones. The greater your passion the deeper your strength and the wider your power! Victory is never the end! It frees you to do more, so much more. In any field too! And so do those around you. They know what you have achieved. They know you are to be trusted, that you know what you are talking about and what you are capable of. This opens doors you never knew existed for you. The Force shall set you free. As long as you follow the path in it's entirety, you will succeed. Believe in the process. Make your own path, for it is inevitable that you shall reach it's end. A very practical way of breeding competence. I love it as it is applicable to everything in life, no matter how big or small your passion may be. I also like how no step is defined. So it applies to everything. Basically if you want something go get it! Can't, figure it out! Then go get it! The more unobtainable the more valuable the journey to get it is, but gaining it is just as important as the journey. As is what to do after gaining it. Soo good! But easily soo Evil! A code that can be corrupted to any end but also further any goal. It fits the Sith and the Empire so damn well!

Thank you for instructing us in the truth of the Sith Code. You would make a great instructor for acolytes at the Sith Academy on Korriban. All us here are your acolytes, and you just showed us the way to be a true Sith.

  • The sith really need to be in the big screen We know now so much about the Jedi we really need to know more about the sith they are so cool and interesting
  • @bizmasterTheSlav
So it turns out that Sidious ignored and even mocked the Sith code in many ways.
  • The thing about passion is it isn't violence or destruction. Artists have passion. The sith are fundamentally existentialists. The only reason they're conquerors is because a sith ballet dancer wouldn't make a very interesting antagonist.
  • @Crackmiser
Malgus was a true Sith, Bane was a true Sith. Few beings actually involved in the sith line truly understood the darkside and the nature of conflict.
  • @lerneanlion
The Sith Lords: We will keep moving forward until all of our enemies are destroyed.
  • @enoughothis
The Jedi submit themselves to a greater power and thus are freed from doubt and uncertainty. The Sith seek freedom to impose their will upon the galaxy and by this are enslaved to their own vices and to the Dark Side of the Force.
  • I like the idea of a sith who seeks freedom not for themselves but others, more an "Our chains are broken." than a "My chains are broken."

Star wars fans might claim me is a heretic but I think we need to use both pull codes like yin and yang you learn the Jedis version of the code first to help control your emotions but you got to remember when you have friends and family that are in danger and you have a chance to protect them is the fear and the love for them your emotions that make you want to stand up and fight I mean if he didn't care about the person you wouldn't want to risk your eye for him or her but then there's certain times like when you're at work and a co-workers piss you off or something that's when you got to learn to control your anger and your emotions Peace and let the force be with you always
  • @vikingsword3485
What had the force done to deserve such devotion? Find your own passion and make it reality
  • @Ben-Ken
The Sith were all about winning by any means, even deceit. They wouldn't consider it a hollow victory. It is a core part of their way of life.
  • @darth_dan8886
With just how misrepresented Sith teachings were on this channel previously, this is a surprisingly accurate reading and analysis. Thank you for that.
  • I love how Bane is the deciding vote on what is a true Sith and what is not 😂 Dude's my favorite sith lord ever! 😬
  • @TheWayoftheSith
Freedom either way is the cornerstone of Sith philosophy, and through personal achievement you can find one way to pursue liberation. This, to me the most important Sith values would be as thus. Liberation, self centeredness, determination, a commitment to your individual values and ambitions, passion, and self mastery. We currently live in an age where people are often indifferent and cynical, so I think that Sith teachings would show them that they can ultimately live for themselves. Survival has its basis in the vision and Sith values that we prefer above all others, more of these values can be said to be; the inner control, common will, self-discipline, warrior mentality, absolute individualism, independence, vitality, and perseverance. The point of Sith values is to create an individual that has the abilities or power to pursue what they like and survive in any environment. Our vision for a better future and world order is centered around the appeal to strength, power, and knowledge, as well as to all Sith along with victory. Since victory can be shared by all diligent and cunning individuals who work just as hard and do as good of a job on their self-development, we would say our vision is about making the world more suited for all by our aggregate actions towards order which makes it possible for the strongest/best as well as ambitious and victorious to gain freedom and gain perfection in all ways, to master oneself physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and financially.

There must be both dark and light. I will do what I must to keep the balance, as the balance is what holds all life. There is no good without evil, but evil must not be allowed to flourish. There is passion, yet peace; serenity, yet emotion; chaos, yet order.
  • @paulmetzgar2604
The freedom that the Sith gain is and always shall be an illusion. While they may free themselves from the control of others, they will make themselves slaves to their own passions. This makes the Sith subject to the corrupting influence of their own dark emotions. Because of this, they will never truly have peace. It is hard to be at peace when you let your own anger, pain, and hate run free. If you don't let it go, it will consume you and turn you into something you cannot recognize.
