"Do you honestly believe half your number would sacrifice themselves to save the other?" Yes actually that was a popular strategy in the fourth Savage fight of the Alexander raids for one mechanic.

You originally see Ardbert coming back into the Crystarium and think, "He's finally gotten his heroes' welcome." And then the camera pans and it's so. much. better.

Man, the final act of Shadowbringers is some of the best Final Fantasy has ever been. Then you realize it's just one expansion of an mmo and it's ever crazier. The Dev team deserves every bit of the praise they get.

Natsuko Ishikawa is the best thing that happened to this franchise. Her writing is beyond perfection and I can't wait to see what she did with Endwalker. She, YoshiP and Soken are like the Holy Trinity of this game.

Emet had every opportunity to kill you & the Scions but he never did. It can be interpret in many ways but i believe he was testing us to see if we were worthy of continuing the Ancients legacy. In the final battle he just knocked out the other Scions cause it was alway the Warrior of Light that interested him the most & it was up to us to prove to him we deserve to live. He has been carrying this burden for an eternity always having the weight of it all upon him (as you can tell by his posture) but when we defeat him that weight is lifted off him. Emet has so many layers to him as a character which is why he resonated so well with a lot of the FF14 player base. Also don't worry about your reactions & ugly crying we all did the same when we first experienced this emotional rollercoaster. However it is not over yet the feels train has yet to arrive at its destination so buckle up you haven't seen anything yet :D

Couple things of note, in Emet's final moments he no longer slouches when standing. He doesn't have the weight of reviving his people on his shoulders anymore. Ardbert at the scene with him walking towards his friends finally has his axe cleaned after so long of it being bloodied.

It’s always a treat getting to see people’s reaction to the whole final stretch of Shadowbringers. Thanks for sharing it and letting some of us relive it again.

19:26 "Why would you DO that????" Welcome to FF14, where we pay 12.95 a month (or so, depending on sub plan, I guess..) to have Square Enix REACH INTO OUR CHEST AND PULL OUR HEART OUT AND STOMP ON IT! 47:30 "Champions from beyond the rift... heed my call!" This is what Duty Finder looks like in-universe. :)
  • @dec222
Bree: "I've been through enough!" Ishikawa: "Gonna have to disagree with you on that..."
  • @DrakeyC
The best villains are ones where you not only find them sympathetic and understandable, but you get to like them and could even agree with them. As Emet says earlier in Shadowbringers, it's moral relativism - it's a clash of ideologies, both you and him trying to preserve your races. And from that, you know that he is as righteous and determined as you, and just like you, he will not back down. I easily get why so many players love him, he's a fantastic character.
  • @Silvist
Feelbringers isn't over yet lol. Good thing you're named "Tenacious" for a reason :D Can't wait to see more of your reactions!
  • @Reycied
The first time I ran Amaurot, it legitimately scared me. Maybe because I've had nightmares that seemed similar. But the endless city burning, the downfall of a once-great civilization...its biblical apocalypse was truly striking in its presentation. Ishikawa's script, Soken's music, and the tireless work of the design team combined to make an incredible cocktail of despair, sadness and resolve.
  • [This video has a lot of very loud and obnoxious reactions and crying] Ah yes, everything I could have hoped for.
  • @Pompadourius
G'raha quoting Answers with the "those who walk before may lead those who walk after" line during the epilogue is a lesser realized part of those final cutscenes that still hits me.
  • @MemoryOfDarkSky
What a fantastic journey. You can only playthrough this game for the first time once. But watching reactions like this help me relive those moments.
  • @revanxiii4976
When you realized that the light beams were the other WoL coming to fight Hades, that was literally my same reaction 😭 keep up the awesome work!!
  • @tenjenk
the dialogue choice to Ryne was such a well timed punch to the gut. Us carrying on his legacy to others.
  • @ninboy01
I think the summoners of Hydaelyn were fed up with sacrificing their loved ones for the promise that “life will return to normal”, with Zodiark demanding/requiring more and more.
  • @monztor
Emet's "LOOK AT ME" was so compelling, that while I was listening to your reactions while reading up something on my other screen, I turned so fast to look at him xD
  • @liamluong
Your reactions are incredible. It's always fun to crywatch 5.0 with someone.
