Doom Retro Battles involves several Doom and Doom 2 battles, a fight club or battle simulator of sorts, between various units and unit compositions, each with different variations such as weapons, numbers, difficulty levels like Ultra-Violence and Nightmare, etc.

As I suspected, the Cyberdemon utterly curb-stomped the Marines in most of the battles. Unlike the player-controlled Marine, the AI-controlled Marines don't circle-strafe, and they always stop moving when they shoot.

I expected Chaingun Nightmare to go far better for the marines, but the Cyberdemon managed such a strong start on that round they never stood a chance.

Apart from the draw on the Nightmare rocket round, that went pretty much like I expected. Nice triple kill on that fist round too.

The Brutal Doom take of the Cyberdemon not only fires faster when pissed off (via player taunt) but also has a OHKO stomp; would definitely like to see that on a group of marines or monsters...
