Breaking it down further, "MA" symbolizes "MAta" (eyes), and "PA" signifies "PAa" (feet) in Tagalog, adding layers of meaning to this creative linguistic play. It conveys the message that it's now the artists' turn to work and provide for their parents, acknowledging the sacrifices and struggles their parents endured while raising them. PABLO, their leader (the one in the Green jacket) wrote that song lyrically and composed it as well. He asked the group for their inputs. Pablo writes and composes almost all of their group songs. You'll find him credited for the lyrics and/or music in ALL SB19 SONGS and MVs. Fun fact: MAPA was actually first conceptualized on a random laundry day where Pablo just suddenly popped the question "What do you want to tell your parents?" while the group was doing their laundry in between concerts. This was when they were on tour in the Philippines way back in 2020, and they were away from each of their homes. This was revealed by the group in one of their interviews or vlogs, I believe.
