My husband is a firefighter. There is a tough physical test that needs to be taken (here in the US). I would definitely start with weight training. It strengthens your muscles and will start to improve your cardio endurance. ❤

Yes! Covered my kitchen table with a peel and stick fake granite it has been 3 years and it is still in pretty good shape even with 3 teen boys. A few nicks, but you can't see them because of the pattern.

I love all of these makeovers! I think I would go back to your brothers house and paint the kitchen table legs black then recover the top with peel and stick wallpaper (no residue) in a blue to match

I love the fact you can declutter, clean, paint and repurpose on a very small budget. Paint is one of the most cost effective decorating tools. It can make a HUGE difference!
