Stud channel cat!! I went to the Ohio River for 3 days in a row this weekend. I was hitting flatheads on nightcrawler the first night. Then the next 2 mornings on while creek chubbs and cut creek chubbs. Caught 9 flats, biggest one was 26lbs, and I caught 4 stud drums, biggest 12lbs. So much fun!!! I guess u can say that I was River Certified!!! No pun just fun!!

What good video friend

I fish alot for catfish in northwestern Pennsylvania. On the western border of my state there is a massive reservoir called Pymatuning. Over the past 4-5 years I've caught well over 400 channel cats out of the lake. I use a combo of bluegills, nightcrawlers, cut bait (fish, woodchuck hearts and goose hearts from hunting, liver, gizzards), and creek chubs. I clean house with creek chubs. They are just perfect bait. Nothing beats setting the hook and seeing the rod tip bend and feeling them just stop like a cement block stuck on the bottom right before they really start fighting. And the burst of energy right as you get them close to shore is just explosive.

I was catching a bunch of blues on my last try with creek chubs. Nice fish!
