I want my Xbox to look like a box. The clue is in the name.
-
Guys, rechargeable AA batteries are a thing. I hope they stick with this design, because as batteries degrade over time, it's nice to be able to replace them.
-
I’m ready for that PS5 Super Slim
-
The people in foreign countries who can’t afford a console can’t afford the internet good enough to afford cloud gaming either? (at least a real console can run native)
-
Console gamers: No physical media? This is an outrage!! PC gamers: First time?
-
If companies are going to keep pushing for online-only gaming, they need to start lobbying for better internet infrastructure. It's not going to be feasible when companies like Comcast hold monopolies over internet services, and artificially limit upload speeds to 15mbps
-
It is insane that you managed to have your hands on those future consoles
-
I'm not with you guys on the battery part. Rechargeable AAs are a thing and easy to get/relatively cheap
-
I hate digital. The only reason I hate digital is when I’m done with a game and I decide I don’t want the game anymore. I have to keep it there’s no way to resell it and then if a company decides they don’t wanna make that game anymore you could lose your game And not be able to have it anymore even if you’ve paid for it
-
Why are digital games not cheaper? I would rather own physical copies because I can actually sell or trade it. There's no financial incentive to lease a digital license over owning a physical copy.
-
The problem with cloud gaming is the licensing for every country. Not every country will be able to do so, and a lot of those countries are the ones with tariffs
-
The problem with online gaming is that the servers always have to be operating, even when online is really low
-
As a collector of old consoles who actually uses them, the switch to all digital will stop that since once the marketplace for it stops the console is rendered useless.
-
I think all digital wouldn't be too bad if they let us turn the xbox into a full fledged pc when support ends
-
I wish they could either make one with a disc slot or one with a separate disc drive.
-
It looks like a bin
-
Austin: "The laws of physics exist, Matt. The speed of light is only so fast." Matt: "But we're getting better at that!"
-
If it supports external disk drives through USB C or something that might make up for the digital side of things. Disks are pretty much the only reason that people use backward compatibility. Without that, you should at least able to convert your disks to digital copys if you've played them on that account before
-
It would be nice if they put a desktop on it so people can use it as a computer when not gaming.

I'm from Brazil and Matt just used the best example that makes Gamepass the best choice for everyone. My XSX costed US$ 700 Austin and I have it because I got it in a good deal, the price is close to 1000. You're looking into this in your perspective only. Most of the people can't afford it, but they can buy a controller and play games on day one with gamepass, but in peak usage hours when everyone is using the cloud we have long waiting lines. Matt is a smart boi, give him a raise.
