I never understood why some guys feel they have to blow it up. I did my time. Got out E-4. No combat. I served, I’m proud of what I did. I got my VA Mortgage and my free lifetime National Parks card. My parking spot at Home Depot.

He's 58, almost 59. How the hell was he in any service starting in 1979?? I'm 58 almost 59. I joined the service in 1984. He was still a kid, not even 16 yet in 1979. There is absolutely no way he was in, and did all this. You can tell he was never in, because those that served, know we can just request a copy of our DD214 from records! I've done it twice! Also, you don't "go into the service on the GI Bill", you get the GI Bill once you are in. All that is, is help in going to college. It pays for part of your tuition. This guy is nutts! He has absolutely no idea of what he's talking about!
