  • I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone. Not even my worst enemy
  • @teehamster2418
His son might not realise it now. But when he’s older he’s gonna be so proud of his dad.

The fact that this was caused by bacteria that normally lives harmlessly on the surface of your skin is terrifying! Makes you think that this could happen to anyone, at any time. I deeply admire his wife for being so devoted to him.

I've had this exact thing happen to me in 2017, but luckily I rushed myself to an ER the minute my lips started turning purple. What I thought was a ' cold ' turned out to be a severe double pneumonia with sepsis caused by strep A. How I wasn't able to 'feel' how serious my condition was, is still beyond me. The docs were pretty angry I waited so long, but I honestly thought it was just a bad cold. I didn't even notice my saturation was dropping by the minute. I too had a 2 yr old running around. I came pretty close to dying, but through sheer luck I got out of this unharmed ( well at least for the most, my energy levels still are that of 90 yr old ) after a year of rehabilitation. He's a brave man and I'm so sorry to see the damage this can do. It's heartbreaking and I find this so unfair.

This makes me feel rlly guilty that I complain about my life
  • @Brokid81
This guy is so much stronger than I am. I can barely keep my head straight as is. And I'm a relatively healthy guy with all my limbs. I can't even imagine going through this and finding the strength to trudge on and stay positive. I have a colossal amount of respect for him. And for his wife, for that matter. What truly awesome people.
  • @gonzoradio1007
That is an EXTREMELY strong and resilient couple. Especially the man suffering from all of this
  • @saleopeepo2916
just imagine his son avoiding him, it will be the worst pain of his life.
  • @silont-
His wife has a heart of gold.
  • @carrowcobb-cu2yh
When your son grows up to see this he will know what a fighter his dad is. Keep fighting. The technology is getting better you will be robo dad running, hugging, working, cooking and making more babies before you know it.
  • It's really wonderful to come across people who freely share valuable information online. You never know what kind of knowledge you might stumble upon that could have a lasting impact on your life.
  • @julians7268
Jesus Christ... That man is stronger than me. If my children pulled back in fear from me... I'd die.
  • @logancaine9616
This man married the closest thing to an angel on earth. If only we could all be as lucky to find such a significant other.
  • @Doctor_Shenzo
As a doctor myself i see cases in the emergency room everyday that break my heart but this one hits different, i have to say i have mad respect for him because he carried on with his life and i can already tell that patients who exprience amputation resort to depression quite often or surrender to bieng disabled and to this way of life but he did not , also i can't even describe how lucky he is to have a strong and resilient woman as lucy she is the type of woman that can lead people which by the way very rare these days but she stayed all the way till the end and she did not gave the impression that she sad or suffering even by a tiny bit in this entire video i have mad respect for the woman she is
  • @catsinq5726
The footage around 14:00 just made me want to cry. Dogs show such unconditional love. I'm sure it was a huge help to him through all this.
  • @carlostuta10
When you see cases like this, everything you don't like about yourself becomes silly
  • @eddiespartan6410
Heartbreaking at first, but deeply inspirational. The courage exhibited is a great lesson for all. His wife an ever shinning gem.
