Hi Peeps
This video demonstrates the feathered twig again but this time is a “double” feathered twig!
Thanks again for all your comments.
The needles that I use are:
Chenille - size 22
Milliner’s/Straw needles - sizes 3, 1 and 9.
I used a 2mm silk ribbon for this stitch.

I am looking forward to your new book. I have used your other 3 books so often for learning new stitches and inspiration, a great resource for me. TY

Thank you Jennifer for your video and company today. Well I had to pop off and listen to the Butcher bird song. Ain't YouTube grand.😂 I love this stitch but a double has just given so much more. I am waiting (trying with patience) for your new book to see what new goodies have brought us. Always a pleasure.

Hi Jennifer another great video , thankyou for sharing this double feathered twig stitch, can just imagine it on a embroidered garden piece Hope your eyes are improving, there seems always something happening, my husband is having health concerns at the moment, having trouble concentrating so think I might take your advice and just practice stitching which will help calm the mind. Enjoyed the bird choir, just so beautiful. Have a lovely weekend and take care xxx
  • Absolutely LOVE listening to you Jennifer. Your South African Heritage absolutely Radiates from you. I laughed out loud when I heard you say Gemors in describing your nest of ribbon. And btw your work is absolutely magnificent. I live in South Africa. ❤

  • I sat down to relax my back from quilting and was delighted to find you on screen! The new stitch is gorgeous and I can’t wait to add it to my piece. Thank you for staying on line to finish the pretty stem. Love your videos- the very best!
