This was a fun project that we shot over the course of three days on a $500 budget. Wouldn't have been possible without the love and support from the cast and crew, so much mahalo's to everyone involved.

  • I love how they both exchanged gestures with how the other guy does it in the end. It shows how much respect they gained from each other. Really great writing.

3 days and a $500 budget!??? That makes it absolutely laughable that the newest Predator movie had a budget of 88 million and produced something I absolutely hated. Great work!

I was going to be rather critical of this project until finding out that it was made in three days and a $500 budget. This is really damn impressive work, given the circumstances. You guys should be proud of the final product -- great work!
  • I’ve always loved military history, especially in the Pacific theater during WWII. The acting, the uniforms, the weapons, the military jargon, the soldiers body language, everything is amazing; and then to throw a Yautja right in the middle of it. You guys did an awesome job; I love this video!! The big studios could take some pointers from you guys!

For anyone who doesn’t know or remember, when a predator dies, it’s clan mates will pick it up and carry it away, whilst rewarding the victors for their feats.

Well done. That phrase the Japanese soldier said before landing the lethal blow was absolutely badass.
  • Imagine putting a lot of deep lore into fan films like these.
  • That moment the Japanese and the Americans both just stood in horror starring at the hanging bodies gives me chills

This goes to show you that you don't need big Hollywood names or budget to make a good film. Awesome job to all that were involved making this awesome short film.!!!

A well done Predator fanflick - really wanted to see more :)
  • This is excellent. Nothing over the top. The actors played their part. Whoever did this did a great job.
  • Kenji , you guys are amazingly talented! With just $500 & in 3 days, you're produced a film clip as watchable as the Original Predator! Hope this fun project opens doors for you and your guys professionally. You all deserve it. All the best!

I refuse to believe this was made on a $500 budget. The cinematography, sound design, editing, camera composition? EVERYTHING about this short film was excellently crafted with the utmost care and finesse! Plus the fact the colors mimicked those of an old, colorized war film was an exquisite touch among other things, even the story of two enemies becoming brothers-in-arms against a common foe was nothing more than the cherry ontop! The only fault this film has is the audio not being visibly synced properly, but that isn't anything sound programs like Audacity and whatever video program you fancy using can't fix! 9.5/10!

3 days, $500...Holy shit, nice job everyone involved! When a fan film is almost indistinguishable from the original it's based on... wow. Outstanding.
  • @Gollumfili
52M views is well deserved. Better than any of the stuff Hollywood have churned out since predator 2
  • @David-no7nu
That was amazing! This group should be in charge of making all future Predator movies.
  • @luckyasmr1374
I love that this is set during WW2. One of the most compelling aspects of the Predators is that they've come to our planet during many different time periods. I love seeing the Predators fight humans with different equipment and tactics throughout different time periods in history. It adds something fresh and different to the table. I also recommend The Predator Dark Ages fan film if you're interested in stuff like this!
  • @PressA2Die
"It's drawn to heat and conflict" This fan film is more lore friendly than most of the films.
  • A lot of fan films I just skip right around to the end. This one is insanely good no matter the cost of production and I was compelled to watch every second. I love the camera angles chosen that make you feel like you are right in the middle of the action.
  • @stevegee3324
Better than any Hollywood studio could ever do today, bravo.
