Thank you to @relaxblues..Ido need peace of mind. I have been trying to hang on to myself. I have fought for acceptance from my family for so damn long. I finally gave up on them loving me. But, it hurts so bad! I keep getting up but I am not fighting them anymore. I have decided that I am worth it😌. You write very well what some of us need…that extra strength! Have loved the blue since I was about 16. Got to hear some of the greats - Albert King, Freddie King, BB King, Canned Heat, John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Johnny Winter, and more in a place called the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX in late 60s. Love the slow blues especially. Makes me feel someone else knows the pain and heartache, and somehow it lifts my spirit and gets me through the day!!!

I love how the blues gets down under your skin and you feel the music, your body responds to it instead of just using your ears to listen. Great music.
